The Spectrum SC-95 mkII is an upgraded version of the original Spectrum SC-95 computer developed by Sinclair Research in the UK during the 1980s. It also included a serial interface for connecting to other computers and devices, as well as support for the Z-80 microprocessor and a built-in RS-232 port. The mkII also featured a more advanced keyboard layout, with a full-size QWERTY layout and dedicated function keys. The screen display was improved, providing higher contrast and better legibility. It ran on two AA batteries, making it highly portable, and was compatible with existing Spectrum software, which could be easily transferred to the mkII via cassette tape or floppy disk.Overall, the Spectrum SC-95 mkII represented a significant evolution of the original Spectrum model, offering greater functionality, power, and versatility for a wider range of users.
